Over Under Soccer Betting

A couple of football bets today from 99Reds over at the Football Bets service.

99Reds is an ex player manager so has a better feel for the game than most.
He is however a soccer stats freak and it is stats research that is the cornerstone of the long term
profitable record he has built up for clients there.

Here are a couple of his suggestionss for today

12.45pm   Liverpool to Beat Man Utd   8/5   Coral, Ladbrokes   1pt

1.00pm   Hereford v Shrewsbury   Over 2.5 goals   23/20   Hills   1pt

Horse Betting Analyst

Horse Betting Analyst is a service I have been monitoring personally since April this 2011.  The impressive results listed on their own results page match up with what I got in my inbox daily.

They are not the cheapest service out there but they do produce good results. Being a bit expensive also helps keep client numbers down so you would not be one of hundreds or thousands trying to get on.

The below for example was sent out by them at circa 10.30 this morning. Now after 12 noon there is still loads of 16/1 available.

So fees may dictate them not for the casual £5 punter. Bigger stakng investor style punters however looking for a proven past profitable service should take a closer look.

Their messages are short and sweet and to the point.

You no long winded waffle just the key details you need to bet.

Here is a live sample selection for today.

( they actually have another runner as well today in their full member area )

I guess they are an example of the sort of stuff I want to draw your attention to here in future.  ie not new stuff launched with loads of marketing hype and no past history but rather stuff that is proven to me personally over time and that I can honestly vouch for as doing what it says on the tin.

Fingers crossed for another decent priced winner from him again today.

Lingfield 3.55

Low grade handicap. MISS BOUNTY is not a
statistical pick. I’m not convinced any of the
runners are statistical choices. I like her odds.
All year I have been banging on about her sire
not getting winners over 12f and more and It
interests me she drops in trip now to what is
her best distance as I explain below. She also
has good excuses for her last two runs and it
is likely she was not fit. She is the forgotten
horse in this race and 10/1 seems a big price.
I am going to leave her as a Mention for the
following reason. She does not have the usual
headgear on. She hasn’t yet won without any
headgear yet. She won last March when it was
applied after several runs without any and I
don’t know how significant that might be. It
is a Gap in my Knowledge or at least I don’t
feel I can overlook it with confidence. That
stops me betting her hard. I might well have
a saver on Beggers Belief but I do prefer the
mare MISS BOUNTY at the price and have
plans to bet her. Happy to ignore the issues
with headgear for my bet but not happy to
take the chance for any stronger selection.

LINGFIELD 3.40

View Our 2011 Fixtures At lingfieldpark.co.uk
Handicap (CLASS 3) (4yo+ 0-95) 6f

100/30 Perfect Act, 4/1 Anne Of Kiev, 5/1 Five Star Junior
6/1 Breathless Kiss, 6/1 Sioux Rising, 8/1 Vintage
10/1 Green Manalishi, 12/1 The Scorching Wind.

This is another 6f handicap but a classier 0-92 race and
there are 188 similar races. THE SCORCHING WIND is
underraced at the moment and comes out badly coming
down from a Mile. GREEN MANALISHI looks to have
problems aged 10 coming up in distance and doing that
without a recent race. Mares like SIOUX RISING from
7f races and 9 or more runs were 0-48 and that’s why I
feel she is opposable. ANNE OF KIEV is a mare coming
from a 6f handicap without a recent run with a fortnight.
Thats not a safe profile. I found 7 winners doing it but
all 7 of these had form in at least a Class 3 race before
and she doesn’t. Most of the mares that won were also
younger and her lack of backclass means I can’t match
her to any winners. Throw in a rise in the weights for
being beaten and she’s now 7lbs higher than her highest
winning mark and in a Class she has never tasted before
and I have my concerns with ANNE OF KIEV. I think
VINTAGE is shortlistable but he has been off longer at
31 days than most others and I felt there were stronger
runners especially as he has never won in this class and
not from his handicap mark.

BREATHLESS KISS – Shaky profile but just ok
PERFECT ACT – Solid profile but a tough handicap mark
FIVE STAR JUNIOR – Good profile and likes small fields

Soccer Betting Tip

This soccer bet comes from Tammboy who is an ex bookmaker odds compiler.

Anyhow on to one of his recommended bets for today.

Dumbarton vs. East Fife

Dumbarton have fallen apart in their last 4 games, conceding a total of 11 goals.
It’s true that East Fife haven’t been performing that great either but they have been facing stiffer competition.
East Fife’s away form is much better than Dumbarton’s home form and take into account Fife beat
Dumbarton 6-0 at the end of August and suddenly 8/5 looks massive. It is!

SD2 East Fife WIN @8/5 (vs. Dumbarton) – 1 star bet (Ladbrokes, Bet365)

Sports betting blog comment  this was advised yesterday to football bets clients.
Best price now 7/5 Ladbrokes

NEWMARKET 1.50

Victor Chandler Challenge Stakes (Group 2)
(CLASS 1) (3yo+) 7f

2/1 Delegator, 5/1 Red Jazz, 10/1 Mabait, 10/1 Main Aim
12/1 Cat Junior, 12/1 Dream Eater, 16/1 High Standing
20/1 Duff, 20/1 Himalya, Shakespearean, 25/1 Harrison George 25/1 Sir Gerry, 33/1 Golden Stream, 50/1 Blue Angel.

* The Challenge Stakes is a Group race over 7f
* There are 20 renewals since 1990
* 18 of the 20 winners had between 9 and 14 career runs
* Horses with 13 or more starts struggled
* The only ones that won had Grade 1 form before
* Male 3 year olds are just 1-37 with 13 or more runs
* No 3 year old has won this down in distance

SHORTLIST

* DELEGATOR has 1 run this season
* A Few past winners had 2 runs but none had 1
* Thats the biggest problem he faces
* BLUE ANGEL has a surprisingly good profile
* She is very similar to the 2007 winner
* She is  close to 2 other winners
* In a race of shocks she could be interesting
* 3 Year Old fillies with 7-12 career starts
* Finishing 1-2-3-4 last time
* At least 6 runs this season
* These horses had a 4-6 record in this race
* The last 2 that won (2007 and 2000) were 20/1
* BLUE ANGEL is a possibly shock  winner.

It looks a ridiculous shout to go with BLUE ANGLE who
is 50/1 and more on Betfair and multiple bookmakers but the last 10 renewals have
seen horses win a 20/1 20/1 20/1 20/1 and 16/1 and they
were impossible to find as well so she may be able to nick
a place. I’m not keen on any of the alternatives so with a
risk of making myself look stupid I will go with her.

Definately more chance of losing with this bet than winning with it but the name of the game is long term edge and at 50/1 I sniff some value.

Stenhousemuir vs. East Fife

Scottish Division 2 – East Fife WIN @33/20 (vs. Stenhousemuir) – 2 star bet (Bet365)

East Fife drew against Livingston last week and are one of the stronger sides in the division.
Expect them to be competing for 2nd place along with the likes of Alloa.
Although some results haven’t worked out, it’s clear that they’ve been scoring freely
even against the better teams. Stenhousmuir are an in and out side and although they’re
better at home the percentage play is in backing East Fife
(which are still value at 13/8 with Betfred and Ladbrokes) as they should be favourites for this tie.

Epson Derby Tip

EPSOM DERBY 4.00
This analysis for the Derby came from Guy over at www.mathematician-betting.co.uk

Investec Derby (Group 1) (Entire Colts & Fillies)
(CLASS 1) (3yo)1m4f10y

5/2 Jan Vermeer, 5/1 Workforce, 6/1 Midas Touch
6/1 Rewilding, 7/1 Bullet Train, 12/1 Azmeel, 16/1 Al Zir
20/1 Coordinated Cut, 33/1 Ted Spread, 66/1 Buzzword
66/1 Hot Prospect, 150/1 At First Sight.

I dont have a strong Derby opinion this year. There are
probably half a dozen that can win. AL ZIR doesn’t look
classy enough. I don’t fancy BULLET TRAIN and think
he will fail . WORKFORCE and COORDINATED CUT are
trying to overcome the statistic that shows no horse was
beaten in the Dante and won this. MIDAS TOUCH might
be the one but if you bet him you have to assume that he
is better than the favourite and that Johnny Murtagh has
chosen wrongly. REWILDING could go well but he is not
easy to assess and has no form on ground this fast. The
race doesn’t offer me anything. AZMEEL could go well at
a reasonable price but I suspect he is more a Group 2 type.
My gut feeling is REWILDING or WORKFORCE will win.
I have never believed in the Dante statistic and no race
has changed and deteriorated so badly in recent years
than this one. I will go with REWILDING despite faster
ground than he is proven on but if you fancy something
more don’t let me put you off. I don’t have a strong view.

As I type 6/1 is available about Rewilding at Bet365 and Ladbrokes.
