Saturday Soccer Betting Tip

This one comes from Phil an ex bookmaker odds compiler who now tips over at the

==>  Football Bets <== website

He is on a good run at the moment hitting 8 winners in a row.

As one of his clients said  yesterday ..

Congrats btw 8 winners in a row is very impressive.

If you combined them into an accumulator, the odds would have came out as over 500/1!

Although a bit lucky it proves your doing something right!

Keep up the strict selection criteria, keep what your doing, you have one very happy customer here.

Steve

I myself feel that while eight in a row is certainly good going what is more impressive are his long term net profit figures.

See  ==>  Football Results <==

Anyhow enough waffle from me here is one of Phils bets for today.

Unusually for him he is on a treble as opposed to his normal singles.

Mixed Treble
Wycome TO BEAT Southend (3:00pm)
Tottenham MOST Corners v Birmingham (5:30pm)
Atletico Madrid MOST Corners v Malaga (7:00pm)
This double pays just over 13/10 (2.34) at WilliamHill just over 11/10 (2.14) Stan James and Evens Bet365 1pt

LINGFIELD 3.40

View Our 2011 Fixtures At lingfieldpark.co.uk
Handicap (CLASS 3) (4yo+ 0-95) 6f

100/30 Perfect Act, 4/1 Anne Of Kiev, 5/1 Five Star Junior
6/1 Breathless Kiss, 6/1 Sioux Rising, 8/1 Vintage
10/1 Green Manalishi, 12/1 The Scorching Wind.

This is another 6f handicap but a classier 0-92 race and
there are 188 similar races. THE SCORCHING WIND is
underraced at the moment and comes out badly coming
down from a Mile. GREEN MANALISHI looks to have
problems aged 10 coming up in distance and doing that
without a recent race. Mares like SIOUX RISING from
7f races and 9 or more runs were 0-48 and that’s why I
feel she is opposable. ANNE OF KIEV is a mare coming
from a 6f handicap without a recent run with a fortnight.
Thats not a safe profile. I found 7 winners doing it but
all 7 of these had form in at least a Class 3 race before
and she doesn’t. Most of the mares that won were also
younger and her lack of backclass means I can’t match
her to any winners. Throw in a rise in the weights for
being beaten and she’s now 7lbs higher than her highest
winning mark and in a Class she has never tasted before
and I have my concerns with ANNE OF KIEV. I think
VINTAGE is shortlistable but he has been off longer at
31 days than most others and I felt there were stronger
runners especially as he has never won in this class and
not from his handicap mark.

BREATHLESS KISS – Shaky profile but just ok
PERFECT ACT – Solid profile but a tough handicap mark
FIVE STAR JUNIOR – Good profile and likes small fields

Anyhow on to one of his recommended bets for today.

Dumbarton vs. East Fife

Dumbarton have fallen apart in their last 4 games, conceding a total of 11 goals.
It’s true that East Fife haven’t been performing that great either but they have been facing stiffer competition.
East Fife’s away form is much better than Dumbarton’s home form and take into account Fife beat
Dumbarton 6-0 at the end of August and suddenly 8/5 looks massive. It is!

SD2 East Fife WIN @8/5 (vs. Dumbarton) – 1 star bet (Ladbrokes, Bet365)

SD3 Stranraer WIN@6/4 (vs. Arbroath) – 2pt win bet ( William Hill )

Stranraer vs. Arbroath

Stranraer have really got their act together and have had a great start to the season. A good 2-2 draw at Berwick last week outlines their quality at present. Arbroath, relegated last term have been having mixed results. Good at home but woeful away, hammered 4-1 by Berwick only two weeks ago. William Hill have clearly priced this up on the basis of a relegated 2nd division team must be stronger than a mid-table 3rd division team, but confidence means a lot in these lower leagues. A look along the odds-line will tell you this is way out. Bag the 6/4 before they change it.

———————————————————————–

Welcome back to the weekly Scottish Selections email after the summer break. I’m always a little cagey at the start of a new season. In the scottish lower leagues there’s a lot of movement of players and tons of loan signings. I know a few of the people that run the clubs in the 2nd and 3rd divisions so I talk to them but results can be eratic in the first few games. My systems are heavy on statistics too and it takes a few weeks before I have enough data to be confident. For the first few weeks it’ll be question of 1star bets going on what my spies report but when the stats bed in, it’ll be full steam ahead and I’m very confident of another highly profitable campaign. I’ve been betting on the Scottish lower leagues since 2002 and every season’s been a winner!

This week:

SD1 Ross County WIN @ 6/4 (vs. Falkirk) – 1 star bet (Bet365, Paddy Power)

Analysis

Ross County vs. Falkirk

Last season’s cup run showed Ross County to be a team going places and a good start to the new campaign last week thumping new boys Cowdenbeath 2-0. They’ll be a team to follow this season, they have an excellent management team and I expect them to be challenging for the title come the end of the season. They take on Falkirk who continued miserable SPL form by losing to Dumbarton at home last week and look out of sorts still coming to terms with SD1. It’s often the case that it takes a while for the SPL relegation team to settle and Ross County can take advantage of this at 6/4.

SD1 – Dunfermline WIN @13/8 (vs.  Raith) – 3 Star Bet (Bet365)

Raith vs. Dunfermline

Dunfermline seem to be making their traditional (too) late asault on the title having won 4 of their last 6.
They have won 3 out of 4 fixtures against Raith already this season (1 in the cup) and even
beat them 2-1 this week. It’s incredible that they’re available at 13/8 – this really is massive value.

Stranraer WIN  (vs. Elgin City) – 1 star bet.

@13/8 Ladbrokes or slightly better 7/5 Bet365

Elgin City vs. Stranraer  Scot Div 3

Elgin city have been great away but not so good at home, they’ve had their confidence shaken in recent games by loses to Forfar and Livingston. To compound that, they’ve also got a bit of a bug running through the team. While Stranraer are no world beaters, they’re a team capable of winning this and 13/8 represents decent value.

Trainer Statistics Bet

This betting tip comes from a long term profitable message board thread in the full member area of www.PunterProfits.com

The thread is based on long term trainer statistics.

The selection today is Benbens (5.30 Stratford) – each way

6/1 is available at Bet365 and VC

Out of interest a quick look at this market and we can see there is a high odds on favourite. In such circumstances the maths often point to a bit of value in the each way betting markets.

ANALYSIS

MATCH:   Newcastle let us down last week and after watching that game,
I will be amazed if they stay up. They just don’t seem to have the quality
needed to get them out of trouble and they are hugely lacking in confidence.
The introduction of Alan Shearer as manager as had no effect whatsoever with
Newcastle winning just two points out of a possible twelve under his charge.
They are now without a win in nine games.   Liverpool are now unbeaten
in twenty eight home games and have not lost at Anfield to anyone outside the
big four since November 2004. Liverpool are playing with a lot of confidence
going forward right now and are boosted by the return of Steven Gerrard. They
have scored fifteen goals in their last four matches and stuck five past Newcastle
at St James’ Park earlier in the season. The Geordies will again be without
Steven Taylor at the back and Jose Enrique’s comeback from injury last
week lasted all of twenty minutes. The loss of Enrique is especially painful
as Newcastle have no cover for the left back position and Damien Duff may have
to fill in.   The last three fixtures between these two sides have resulted
in an aggregate score of 11-1 to Liverpool and I think there is the potential
for another big score line tomorrow.

GOALS:   With the number of goals Liverpool are scoring right now, it’s
hard to look past over 2.5 goals. Liverpool’s last five games have featured
three goals or more and just one of their last nine in all competitions has
featured two or less. Their last nine fixtures average 4.8 goals per game! Four
goals or more at 7/4 with Blue Square might be worth an interest although you
might be relying on Liverpool getting all of them.

GOALSCORERS:   Fernando Torres has to be the bet here at 10/11 to score
anytime. It sounds short but when you look at the stats it’s not short
enough. Torres is just one short of fifty goals for Liverpool in just seventy
appearances which is an incredible statistic. He seems to score most of his
goals in home games and he has four in the last three. The return of Steven
Gerrard should also provide him with more chances. The Tote, Ladbrokes and Hills
are just 4/7 so 10/11 looks a bit of value in a game with a high goals expectancy.

RECOMMENDATIONS

1pt Fernando Torres to score anytime 10/11
Coral or 5/6 S James

Best Wishes
